• Payment-related records such as amount, currency, order reference, payment reference, payment status, and limited payment metadata returned by Paystack.
• Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, pages visited, error logs, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
• Support records created when you email, call, or otherwise ask us to help with an itinerary or booking.

How we use information

• To respond to enquiries and provide travel support.
• To search fares, price offers, create bookings, issue or manage orders, and provide itinerary updates.
• To process payments through Paystack, reconcile transactions, detect fraud, and keep accounting records.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the website and booking experience.
• To comply with legal, tax, accounting, aviation, security, sanctions-screening, and regulatory obligations.

Payment processing

Paystack is the payment gateway for Safety Travels. We do not ask you to enter full card details into our own systems, and we do not store full card numbers or card security codes.

When you make a payment, Paystack processes the payment details and may share transaction references, status, amount, and limited payment metadata with us so we can confirm or support your booking.

Lawful basis

Where applicable, we process personal information to perform a contract with you, take steps before entering a contract, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests such as service security and fraud prevention, or use consent where required.

Who we share information with

• Airlines, reservation systems, travel providers, payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, and support providers needed to deliver the services you request.
• Cloud hosting, analytics, security, communications, and operational vendors that help us run the website and support desk.
• Regulators, law-enforcement agencies, courts, tax authorities, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.

International transfers

Travel services are inherently international. Your information may be transferred to airlines, reservation systems, payment providers, technology providers, and authorities in countries outside your own. We use reasonable safeguards and share only what is needed for the relevant purpose.

Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including booking support, customer service, dispute handling, legal compliance, tax and accounting records, security, and audit requirements.
